The view
The ship's beauty shop, spa etc. has all windows. So this spa employee was out in the corridor attempting to Shanghai customers. Quite aggressive. Part of her sales pitch was how scenic the salon was. Couldn't believe she said that. I protested that the scenery is a straight line.
It’s so straight, those flat earthers may be onto something.
The ship was five hours late getting started. They had trouble lading the stores needed to keep 1800 people happy for 34 days.
I spend a lot of pleasant time on my veranda just watching the sea. And being a nerd about it. This morning it was 50 degrees F, wind NNW, waves 6 ft, 8 seconds. Partially cloudy after noon. Mostly I look at the same flat line I would see in the spa.
